Tessie is without question the most intense stylish pup we have produced to date. Her intelligence and cooperation has made Tessie very easy to train. Her desire to find birds coupled with an excellent nose makes every day a field with Tessie one of enjoyment and pleasure. In the home Tessie has won the hearts of the entire family. Her happy attitude and wagging tail can bring a smile to your face.

Tessie like her grandmother and mother always hunts with a purpose in mind. Her use of wind, her search of objectives, her useful pattern of hunting enables Tessie to come up with birds time and time again. Tessie hits her points with style and intensity. Her casts are wide and effortless. She knows to seek objectives and how to use the wind to her advantage. She is intelligent, biddable coupled with a nice blend of desire and cooperation. She has her grandmother and mothers love for birds and sweet personality.

Tessie is the product of some 30 years of working with German Shorthairs. From the way she carries herself around the house to her uncanny ability to pinpoint birds; Tessie without question is that once in a lifetime bird dog. If there was an IQ test we could administer to a bird dog I am certain Tessie would be off the charts as it relates to intelligence. Never have I had a bird dog so easy to train. Everything comes easy to Tessie. She is the kind of bird dog that lives to please, always with a high happy tail. She has eyes that seem as though they can talk to you, and often does.

To watch Tessie in the field is truly a sight of beauty. Her casts are effortless; her range maximizes her bird finding abilities. She is classic style and conformation. Tessie is one of those shorthairs that when in the field all eyes are on her. She is extremely stylish and flashy either while on point or in an honoring situation. Tessie never tires in her pursuit of game. It was evident that Tessie had that special” something” as a young puppy. From the first time Tessie had ever scented a bird her points were intense and staunch. Tessie’ s first bird contact came at 8 weeks of age. As Tessie matured she became more proficient with the duty at hand finding birds! If there is a bird Tessie will find it, she is extremely honest in her points.

Tessie is the product of a selective breeding between Nobelles Miss Jennifer and Ch Up Close N’ Personal MH (Josh). A careful look at Josh’s pedigree will demonstrate just how special that breeding was. The breeding was the result of careful planning to bring forward the traits of some of the all time best of the best. Both the Dam and the Sire to Josh are personal hunting dogs hunted in New York State primarily on grouse and woodcock. When woodcock season is over Josh is hunted on pheasants. He is a valued member of the family. Tessie’s litter carried on the Nobelle tradition of sound, intelligent bird dogs. Jenny’s lineage shows what excellent breeding can produce. Jenny’s pedigree is a selective blend of top German and American bloodlines. Jenny is a prize I Natural Ability dog, as well achieving her NAVHDA Utility Title. Her sire is VC Sharp Shooters Me-Oh-My-Ty MH her damn is Hawkeyes Westfork BB. Jenny is an extremely cooperative dog with tremendous desire and nose, with a never quit attitude. She is a stylish pointer, intense backer and talented water dog. She has an excellent disposition always wanting to please. Training Jenny was a pleasure as she learned quickly what was expected of her. Jenny naturally adjusts her range to the cover and conditions she is hunting. She checks back naturally always hunting as a team. Jenny’s litter is the recipient of a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award. So to put it simply, “like mother like daughter.
